In the National Geographic TV show, Witness to Disaster, Davidson told his story about surviving the earthquake. In 2017, Davidson successfully summited Mount Everest.The Ledge: A Story of Inspirational Friendship and Survival, a New York Times bestseller survival memoir co-authored by Davidson. Amazon selected the book as one of the Best Books for the Year. His epic survival tale was featured on an international television episode of "I Shouldn't Be Alive", which aired on Discovery Channel.The Next Everest is his most recent book. It tells of the terrifying story of his first encounter with Everest.
